Hello!

I am a creative director, art director, magazine designer and stylist most recently for DallasChild magazine and its sister publications: FortWorthChildNorthTexasChildDallasChildBaby and Thrive magazines. I came to know and love publishing from my mother, a publishing entrepreneur in Dallas, Texas who started her regional parenting magazines, DallasChild,  in 1986 as a result of having her firstborn, Lauren, and her obsessions with magazines. Growing up in the magazine industry, I got to know the business through frequent visits to the office, dinner table conversations and taking trips to the printer for late night press checks.

After earning my bachelors in advertising, I went to work for DallasChild the summer of her senior year on a temporary basis. Eleven years later, I've worked my way up through the editorial ranks and to art director in 2008, and then creative director in 2010. From there I became involved with  local design associations, such as the Dallas Society of Visual Communications and AIGA Dallas, and joined the board of directors for the Parenting Media Association in 2013, serving as the Awards Chair before stepping down in 2016.

A sixth-generation Texan born and raised, I now live in New York with my husband and am looking for opportunities in print or digital in the city.
