Lauren Niebes is a creative director and designer with additional experience in art direction, styling and production. From 2005 until 2020, she served in various roles at DallasChild magazine in Dallas, Texas—working remotely from New York for the last six years. She has over 10 years of experience managing in-house art and editorial teams, including creating and maintaining a stable of freelance photographers and illustrators.

During her tenure there, Lauren led a complete print redesign, oversaw two redesigns and relaunches of dfwchild.com and was heavily involved in launching five new publications for the parent company. She oversaw four monthly print titles (DallasChild, FortWorthChild, NorthTexasChild and CollinChild), one quarterly print publication (Thrive, now named DFWChild Special Needs), one bi-annual magazine (Baby), two annual titles (The Well Guide and The Education Guide) and the digital platform, dfwchild.com. While there, she created and executed the creative strategy for the print and digital platforms, as well as setting the editorial tone across all titles. Lauren served on the board of the Parenting Media Association as the Awards Chair from 2013-2016.

Lauren currently lives in New York City.
